Who we are

Anamed Uganda is a dedicated Christian organization, affiliated with Anamed International, committed to empowering individuals and communities through education, sustainable projects, and the dissemination of valuable resources. Our mission revolves around fostering self-reliance across the spectrum of health, social welfare, and economic prosperity. We accomplish this through the provision of informative seminars, the inception and management of impactful projects, and the wide distribution of educational books and materials. Our ultimate goal is to equip people with the knowledge and skills they need to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives and to promote the well-being and resilience of our communities.

Our Mission
  • We dream of a world in which even those people living in the simplest circumstances meet their health needs by using their own skills and abilities to utilize their own locally available resources, and by working in cooperation with others. Families, communities, and health Centers to take responsibility for their own health.
Aims of Anamed Mukono
  • To improve the health provision in communities using locally produced natural medicines that are inexpensive and easy to use.
  • To promote the cultivation and use of Artemisia annuals, particularly for the treatment of malaria.
  • To encourage and exchange of knowledge and experiences about natural medicine
  • Fighting climate change by producing medicines locally, so reducing the need for import, and also by using solar energy, thus reducing the production of carbon dioxide.
  • Publish and distribution of posters, books and seeds
  • Opposing dangerous cultural practices like FGM and natural medicine.
  • Promoting the planting of indigenous, leguminous and medicinal plants.
  • Promoting the cultivation, proper storage and consumption of organic foods.
